Since our establishment, we have been refining our thin paper, specialty paper, and functional products business with our unique technologies cultivated over many years, and through information exchange and technical exchanges with users and manufacturers, we have introduced highly functional products that meet a variety of requirements. Most of our specialty papers are one-of-a-kind, custom-made products. Nippon Paper Papylia delivers a wide variety of functional products in small lots that meet the diverse needs of our customers.

We have been working on such a theme for more than 120 years, and we are determined to surpass the conventional paper category by adding extra functions to it. We have continued to work on such themes. Wood pulp, non-wood pulp, cellulose fiber, synthetic fiber, synthetic pulp... the combination of available materials is flexible.
In addition to the papermaking technology, there are a great variety of processing methods such as impregnation, coating, heat processing, and embossing (crepe).
We make full use of these technologies to add new functions and meet advanced requirements such as quality stability and safety.

In 1992, the Suita Mill took the lead in the Japanese paper industry by acquiring ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for quality management. The Harada and Kochi mills subsequently acquired certification, and our company-wide quality assurance system has earned the trust of our customers. All three plants have acquired ISO 14001 certification for environmental management, and the Kochi Plant has also acquired ISO 22000 certification for food safety management.

To meet the needs for high quality products in small lots and high-mix, high quality products. We aggressively propose products to niche markets. This is the business stance of Nippon Paper Papylia.
We will make proposals that meet your needs in terms of paper thickness, strength, dimensions, and functions. We welcome inquiries from customers who wish to add new functions to paper, utilize new materials in paper, or ask if it is possible to do something like this with paper. We will also cooperate as much as possible with your development and research using our facilities and technologies. We also welcome inquiries about joint development.
