President's Message

The management of Nippon Paper Papylia (hereinafter referred to as "Papylia") aims to help solve various problems together with many customers in Japan and overseas as a member of the Nippon Paper Group, to be recognized as a reliable partner in the future, to be recognized as a company that makes a high social contribution through its products and manufacturing technologies, and to be a company in which employees and subcontractors can take pride and enjoy their work. We also want to be recognized as a company that contributes to society through our products and manufacturing technologies, and a company in which our employees and those of our business partners can take pride and enjoy their work.

One of Papylia's most important values is its "human resources. For this reason, we will place particular emphasis on the training and utilization of young employees and the utilization of female employees. For example, we will dispatch young employees overseas and have female employees work on the factory floor, which we have not been able to do in the past.

Today, we face many challenges. In particular, the shift to sustainability management, as exemplified by the global warming issue, is an issue that has been declared but cannot be completed immediately, so we must work on it as quickly as possible to achieve results. At Papylia, we are committed to meeting the challenge of building a recycling-oriented society head-on by leveraging the many technologies and achievements of the Nippon Paper Group's strengths in the use of natural resources. For example, we are expected to play a role as an alternative to plastic products and petroleum-based resin materials, and the entire company, including the R&D department, will work vigorously to solve this and other issues.

In the 100 years since our founding, we will continue to take on the challenge of developing innovative businesses that meet the needs of the times and society, and to become a company that can work together with its customers to solve problems, think, solve, and celebrate each other under the slogan of "Change and Creativity.
